Q. What is a Personal Chef? A. A Personal Chef prepares custom meals which you have selected from a wide
variety of options. These meals are stored in your refrigerator or freezer for
you to enjoy at your convenience. All menu planning, shopping, cooking, packaging,
labeling and delivery are done by your Personal Chef.
Q. How does the Personal Chef Service work? A. The service starts with a complimentary consultation during which we discuss
your culinary likes and dislikes, any allergies, special dietary needs or goals. You
may then select the date for your service to begin and I will customize a menu plan
based on your needs and preferences. On your selected cook day I prepare your
meals in my commercial kitchen, package and label with heating instructions and
deliver to your home.
Q. What type of meals do you prepare? A. This service is tailored to meet YOUR needs and eating preferences. From comfort
foods like Italian meatloaf and roasted-garlic mashed potatoes, classic favorites of
lemony Chicken Piccata, to Barbequed Flank Steak with Chutney-Bourbon Glaze. I am
also happy to prepare any of your family's favorite recipes that you haven't had the
time to enjoy in a while. Your meals will consist of the main entre and side dish -
usually a vegetable or starch chosen to compliment your entree.
Q.Do I heat the food? A. Yes. Any entrees that have been stored in your freezer should be defrosted
overnight in your refrigerator and heated to be enjoyed at the peak of their flavor.
I always leave you with easy to follow heating instructions for each entree and side dish.
Q. What are some of the benefits of your Personal Chef Service? A.There is a tremendous amount of convenience in having your meals sitting in your
refrigerator/freezer, ready to heat and eat. When you consider the time it takes
to do shopping and menu planning, you'll spend far less time telling me what to prepare
for you each week or monthabout ten minutes!
Preserve health and enhance your wellness by eliminating unnecessary chemical additives,
high levels of sodium, trans fats and empty carbohydrates and by using the freshest
ingredients and best quality foods.
For clients wishing to reduce calories or serving size, Your Dinner Is Solved offers
portion control packaging. This is great support for those following, or transitioning
to, a new or challenging eating plan. Special dietary requests for one or more members
of your family can be met, so that mealtime can be a relaxing, enjoyable experience for
everyone.
The variety of foods is a great advantage. I have enough recipes in my collection to
offer you different dishes every cookdate. Try the warm spices of Indian Chicken Curry
or the multi-layered flavors of Thai cuisine.
By selecting recipes that use the fruits and vegetables in season, you are assured of
receiving foods at the height of their freshness, flavor and nutritional value. Because
of the special ways Your Dinner Is Solved prepares and packages your foods, it always
tastes as fresh as the day it was prepared.
